7月30日，“智汇潇湘创领未来”2026世界名校博士湖南行湘潭市专场活动举行。

On July 30, the Xiangtan Special Session of the 2026 World-Class University PhD Delegation Tour to Hunan — themed "Wisdom Converges in Hunan, Innovation Leads the Future" — was successfully held.

活动期间，博士团前往湘潭经开区与高新区，实地考察了三家企业，在企业展厅与生产车间，博士们一路走、一路看、一路问，详细了解企业的创新成果与产业布局，切身感受了湘潭在相关领域的产业实力与创新活力。

During the event, the delegation of PhD holders paid field visits to three enterprises in Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone and Xiangtan High-tech Zone. They toured exhibition halls and production workshops, observing and asking questions along the way. They gained in-depth insights into the companies’ innovative achievements and industrial layout, and experienced firsthand the industrial strength and innovative vitality of Xiangtan in relevant sectors.

会场外，湖南工程学院、湘潭理工学院、湖南科技大学等高校和本地企业现场设立展台、发放人才政策手册，并与博士们面对面深入交流。博士们结合自身情况，进行详细咨询，现场气氛热烈融洽，多位博士与用人单位交换联系方式，就进一步深入对接达成共识。

Outside the event venue, universities including Hunan Institute of Engineering, Xiangtan Institute of Technology and Hunan University of Science and Technology, together with local enterprises, set up booths and distributed brochures detailing talent support policies. They held in-depth face-to-face exchanges with participating PhD holders, who raised targeted questions based on their personal academic backgrounds and career expectations. The whole event featured a warm and lively atmosphere. A number of PhD holders exchanged contact information with recruiting employers and agreed on follow-up in-depth communication.
